The Hongshen China Musical Theatre will conduct a large-scale actor selection nationwide for the musical "Love in Love Times". The show is scheduled for a national tour next year. Story Synopsis:
A tenacious stone has endured the trials of life and death over a thousand years, but instead of losing its luster, it shines even brighter! Disasters haven't dimmed its brilliance because it embodies the power of a millennium-old saying: "Holding your hand, growing old with you!"
Our story begins with this very stone. A journey spanning a thousand years, weaving an epic myth, a tale of transcending time and space to save love. The protagonist appears in three different timelines:
Princess Turandot of the Fragrant Kingdom, beautiful like peach blossoms, cold as frost. Prince Fengqiuhuang of the Tatar, charming and obsessed with beauty. The princess's heart of stone tests her suitors with three riddles, while a sharp blade gleams with cold light; In modern times, a couple who've been in love for a long time prepare meticulously for Valentine's Day, each showing cleverness yet missing opportunities due to trivial matters; In a parallel dimension nearing extinction, the daughter of the tribal leader meets her savior at a desperate moment. They fall in love while fighting together to save their race, but fate decrees they cannot be together.
All three stories unfold in different timelines, yet everything changes because of one stone...
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Male and female actors aged 18-30, with good appearance and demeanor.
2. Preference given to those with musical theater performance experience or other acting experience.
3. Performers with professional foundation skills in dance, vocal music, and acting.
Audition Process:
1. Self-introduction: Briefly describe personal background and performance history.
2. Vocal Exam: Prepare two songs or musical theater excerpts of different styles, along with your own accompaniment (CD or MP3 format).
3. Dance Exam: Choose a dance segment (Prepare your own accompaniment, costume, practice clothes/footwear).
4. Acting Exam: Improvisation based on assigned small skit scenarios.
5. Comprehensive testing and judges' Q&A. Bring original ID card, copies, and two color photos during the exam.
