Hua, a female worker at a chemical plant, gives birth to a lovely baby. However, when Hua kisses her son, she bleeds to death. Her husband licks the baby's pacifier and also dies with blood gushing from all seven orifices of his body. Nurse Lin Nuan takes the child home. On a stormy night, the infant suddenly grows to the age of three. Lin Nuan sends him to a research institute and names him Sasan. After testing, it is found that Sasan's saliva contains a deadly poison which cannot be removed. This was caused by environmental pollution. On another stormy night, Sasan grows to the age of twelve. Soon, Sasan feels that Lin Nuan is beginning to distance herself from him. In a fit of rage, he grows into a young man and starts harming others. He escapes alone to Daxia Valley where he meets a girl named Qing'er who captures his heart at first sight. To comfort him, Qing'er kisses him and immediately dies from poisoning. Holding Qing'er, Sasan runs towards the mountaintop and is struck dead by lightning.

The story of "Poisonous Kiss" is shocking. A couple working in a severely polluted chemical factory give birth to a boy containing deadly toxins within his body. Every time there is a thunderstorm, this boy experiences rapid growth, increasing his toxicity, causing instant death upon contact and withering of plants. Not long after his birth, this child poisons both his biological mother and father. Unable to enjoy normal family pleasures, he becomes violent and eccentric, eventually being destroyed by lightning while holding his deceased lover. The bizarre story leaves an indelible impression on every viewer: the mother collapses after kissing the newborn; the young father also dies violently with blood streaming from his mouth; this boy can produce many bubbles when he puts his hand in water; during thunderstorms, he painfully grows rapidly, tearing apart clothes and cabinets; when his temper flares up, his teeth protrude, making him look ferocious and terrifying... These are things unheard and unseen by the audience, giving them a strong visual and psychological impact. It vividly warns people about the importance of environmental protection.
