This is the legendary Turner Classic Movies (TCM)... America's renowned non-commercial 24-hour movie channel. Its website (here's the link) focuses more on introducing old films from Hollywood's Golden Age. I took a rough look, and there are a great number of movies from the 1930s to the 1950s. For example, today's database (still the link) shows "Four Wives" (1939), "Four Daughters" (1938)... and so on at the beginning.
