Plot Summary:

The story of the TV series "War Orphans" takes place in the 1930s in war-torn Shanghai during the Japanese invasion. He Jin moved here from Northeast China years ago. Due to losing her biological daughter in the chaos of war, she founded an orphanage called Chunfeng Tang, which specifically took care of orphans left behind by anti-Japanese warriors. This was partly to ease the pain of losing her own daughter and partly because she hoped to reunite with her lost daughter amidst the vast sea of people.
