Plot Summary:
In the Central Plains of the martial arts world, Master Sun Yubo's mansion is in a standoff with Wan Pengwang's Twelve Flying Phoenix Sect. Beneath Master Sun are his son Sun Jian, daughter Sun Die, two trusted lieutenants Yi Qianlong and Lu Mantian, as well as his capable assistant Lu Xiangchuan, and a secret base for gathering intelligence on the martial arts world called "Happy Forest". The head of "Happy Forest" is Gao Jiping, known as "Boss Gao", who commands four secret assassins: Ye Xiang, Shi Qun, Meng Xinghun, and Xiao He.
Boss Gao mistakenly assumes that Master Sun will marry her, but instead hears Master Sun order Lu Xiangchuan to take over Happy Forest. Enraged, Boss Gao devises a plan to retain control of "Happy Forest" and vows to kill Master Sun.
Ye Xiang, ordered to assassinate Master Sun, coincidentally meets Xiaodie and falls deeply in love at first sight.
Xiaodie is designedly raped by Lu Xiangchuan and, under the influence of drugs, also has relations with Ye Xiang who accidentally intrudes. However, Master Sun refuses to believe Xiaodie's pleas and casts her out.
In his duel with Han Tang, the "killer of killers" sent by Master Sun, Ye Xiang manages to survive but becomes permanently disabled and can no longer kill.
Meng Xinghun, contemplating ending his career as a killer, accepts Boss Gao's conditions to assassinate Master Sun but wishes to uncover the identity of the幕后 employer. Tracking suspicious individuals at "Happy Forest," Ye Xiang advises him to quit early.
Meng Xinghun infiltrates as a helper at the Eight Immortals Tavern near the Sun residence and consequently meets Xiaodie...
