During one instance while serving Emperor Li Yi (Chris Tang), she secretly manipulates events to become the Concubine Li and begins to compete with Consort Wan Baoxian (Cecilia Choi). Meanwhile, Sanhao, with her clever hands and ingenious mind, becomes the Chief Chamberlain. Just when Sanhao and Jinling both hold power, their sisterly bond fractures. It turns out both have feelings for the palace guard Gao Xianyang (Aaron Kwok). Jinling seeks to punish the four departments, but Sanhao chooses forgiveness and protects the four. Jinling then uses this to harm Sanhao...
