Plot Introduction: Since entering the 21st century, the Chinese Air Force's strategic campaign has transitioned from a "territorial air defense type" to an "offensive and defensive combination type." The concept of national security has started extending beyond domestic borders. To adapt to this trend, the Air Force decided to establish a multi-aircraft type unit known as the Hawk Squadron. This squadron is tasked with independently winning localized wars, responding to emergencies, and combating terrorism in various situations. The squadron comprises multiple advanced aircraft types such as J-10 fighters, Su-30 bombers, J-8 electronic warfare aircraft, early warning aircraft, electronic interference aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft, transport aircraft, aerial refueling tankers, and more. Elite pilots are selected from across the military, and the AVIC service team is responsible for providing comprehensive support to ensure rapid combat readiness to execute national security missions.

Ma He, a test pilot with extraordinary flying skills, was eager to join this squadron but was also tempted by the generous material benefits offered by a local airline company. When the commander chose Xiao Bang for the squad instead of him, Ma He felt that the Air Force did not value him and angrily requested a transfer. During a flight confrontation, Xiao Bang's aircraft suddenly malfunctioned, forcing him to eject, while Ma He reluctantly shot down the out-of-control aircraft just before it crossed the border, leaving him with psychological scars. Captain Chen Ning of the Hawk Squadron noticed Ma He's composure under pressure and decided to recruit him into the Hawk Squadron. Feeling disheartened, Ma He only agreed to replace Xiao Bang after being scolded by Xiao Bang.

Upon joining the Hawk Squadron, Ma He quickly demonstrated superior tactical abilities, often competing with another top pilot, Wu Wei Tao. Captain Chen Ning emphasized the squadron’s philosophy: “One for all, all for one.” No heroics should be shown; they must always serve the bigger picture and work collaboratively. Soon, the squadron received a mission: a terrorist group in Western Central Asia had caused a rebellion, posing a severe threat to regional security in Central Asian countries, including China. The Central Asian Cooperation Organization decided to jointly combat the terrorist organization, assigning the aerial strike mission to the Hawk Squadron. In battle, Ma He initially faced psychological barriers, constantly hallucinating about shooting down Xiao Bang's plane. Under Captain Chen Ning's stern criticism, he displayed extreme behavior, disregarding the combat plan and attacking with Wu Wei Tao without authorization. Although their attack succeeded, Ma He was still disciplined by Captain Chen Ning for violating battlefield discipline and demoted to the reserve team, losing his combat eligibility.

Later in the conflict, the squadron encountered a major challenge when the enemy's ammunition depot proved too sturdy to destroy with regular bombs. Ma He's fighting spirit was ignited, and he successfully attacked using methods beyond human limits, though his aircraft was damaged and made an emergency landing at a small airport. The AVIC service team rushed to the small airport day and night, repairing his aircraft. During this time, Ma He developed feelings for engineer Jiang Jingchao. Through various signs, Ma He began doubting the authenticity of the war and eventually discovered that it was merely a highly realistic exercise. Unable to tolerate being deceived, Ma He revealed the truth, causing the exercise to halt prematurely, and he was dismissed by Captain Chen Ning, who prepared to expel him from the Hawk Squadron. Back at his old unit, Ma He learned valuable lessons from Xiao Bang and veteran pilots from the Korean War era, understanding the true meaning of "one for all, all for one."

After returning to the squadron, Ma He was only allowed to conduct research with the AVIC service team and forbidden from participating in combat. When the Hawk Squadron received a real combat mission, Ma He could only act as a porter for the missile battalion. During the squadron's attack on foreign forces occupying Chinese islands and reefs, Ma He strongly requested participation in the battle, working alongside his teammates to reclaim the islands. However, Wu Wei Tao sacrificed himself to protect the early warning aircraft by blocking an enemy missile with his own fighter, elevating their friendship to new heights. In subsequent joint military exercises between China and foreign nations, the squadron faced severe challenges against foreign militaries. A creative attack plan was devised where Wu Wei Tao, a former paratrooper, parachuted down to laser-designate the targets for the squadron's attacks. Ma He piloted a high-performance stealth aircraft modified by the AVIC service team, perfectly completing the mission. After experiencing growth in both psychology and spirit, Ma He became a true invincible warrior.

With the AVIC service team's mission nearing its end, engineer Jiang Jingchao also prepared to leave. To fully focus on flying, Ma He ended his romantic relationship with Jiang Jingchao, yet both reached a new spiritual height. Their mutual admiration transcended romance, embodying a higher ideal.

"One for all, all for one," the Hawk Squadron rapidly enhanced itself from technical equipment to combat spirit within a short period. They fulfilled their mission and truly became a valiant team that the nation can rely on.
