Astro Boy plot: In "Astro Boy", Dr. Tenma is a world-renowned genius scientist who is deeply devoted to raising his son as his successor. However, an unexpected accident causes the permanent loss of his son, and Dr. Tenma almost succumbs to despair. Out of deep longing for his son, Dr. Tenma decides to create a robot in his son's likeness, naming him Astro Boy.

Astro Boy appears identical to a human on the outside, and the power of the blue core within his body provides him with unlimited energy, enabling him to perform superhuman feats. Moreover, Dr. Tenma implants his son's emotions and memories into Astro Boy's brain, leading Astro Boy to believe he is an ordinary human being and that Dr. Tenma is his father.
