Yuko Nakashima is an ordinary high school girl who, aside from her excellent academic performance, seems to have no outstanding characteristics. Though she spends her days at school laughing and chatting, living what appears to be a monotonous life, there is a lingering shadow in Yuko's heart that refuses to fade: every night, she has a very unsettling dream about a world unknown to her, filled with terrifying scenes. She can only escape this dreadful nightmare by waking up suddenly.

This fear happens every day, plunging Yuko into immense pain. However, one day, a tall blond young man named Kaji suddenly appears in front of Yuko and forcibly takes her to another world without any explanation.
