"A Bug's Life" draws inspiration from Aesop's fable "The Ant and the Grasshopper," telling a story of adventure in the insect world. In a beautiful ant kingdom, everyone is working hard all day. There is an ant named Flik who has his own passion - invention and creation. However, despite his hard work on inventing a "harvester," the queen ant and princess still look down on him and his invention.

The biggest threat to the ant kingdom is a group of grasshoppers who always steal the ants' labor成果—food, casting a dark cloud over the ant kingdom.
