A master thief, Luther, plans to pull off one last big heist before retiring. His target this time is the mansion of billionaire Sullivan. After confirming that the owners are far away on a trip, he successfully sneaks into a room filled with jewels. Just as he congratulates himself on his luck, he sees through a one-way peephole mirror that Mrs. Sullivan enters the master bedroom. And with her is none other than the current President, Rismann. If they were just having an affair, it would be one thing, but what follows is a violent murder: the man injured and the woman dead. When the news breaks, Luther becomes a prime suspect for the police because there are only six people in the country capable of stealing jewels from a mansion like Sullivan's, and on that night, the only one in Washington was Luther. Initially planning to flee, Luther watches the President's hypocrisy on TV and finds out that the police have started to bother his daughter. Determined, he knocks on Sullivan's door.
