Plot Introduction of Spring of the Kapok Tree: The only daughter of big businessman Mu Tianhong, Mu Peiyun, was saved by a young tea farmer and agricultural college graduate Ye Yaohua when she encountered thieves during an outing with friends. The two developed feelings for each other while evading the bandits. After returning home safely, Peiyun announced to her father that she wanted to marry Yaohua.
