The 28-episode TV series *Village of Women*, which aired last night on CCTV Channel 8's prime time slot, follows the theme of "women left behind in rural areas". *Village of Women* tells a story about how rural women in the new era selflessly dedicate themselves and strive to create a happy life. Zhangling Village at the foot of the mountain is a well-known poverty-stricken village both near and far. In order to get rich, all the men in the village have gone to the city to work.
