Plot Introduction:
Current Akatsuki members: Konan, Zetsu, Pain, Hidan. The rest have all died in battle (Deidara sacrificed himself in an explosion during his fight with Sasuke, Sasori of the Red Sand was defeated by Chiyo and Sakura and replaced by Madara, Itachi was killed by Sasuke, Hidan was buried underground by Shikamaru using explosive tags, Kakuzu was defeated by Naruto and Kakashi). Jiraiya has also fallen in battle (against Pain). Before dying, Itachi helped Sasuke awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan, which now has a "six-pointed star" pattern, and expressed his intention to attack the higher-ups of Konoha but does not wish to kill innocents indiscriminately.
The sage Shima appears in Konoha, bringing the news of Jiraiya's death and confirming that Naruto is the "Child of Prophecy." The medical team and code-breaking unit are analyzing the information left behind by Jiraiya. Upon learning of Jiraiya's death, Naruto becomes disheartened. Shikamaru takes Naruto to visit Kurenai-sensei, who carries Asuma's child, to counsel him and seek information regarding the decryption of the code.
Naruto realizes that the number "9" in the code "9, 31, 8, 106, 7, 207, 15" is not the digit "9" but the katakana "タ", leading to the idea that the numbers in the code might refer to page numbers in Jiraiya's book "Makeout Tactics," suggesting the meaning "no original body." Meanwhile, Akatsuki plans to attack Konoha to capture the Nine-Tails sealed within Naruto. Sasuke and his "Taka" group are tasked with capturing the Eight-Tails.
Since decrypting the code thoroughly will take a long time, the sage Shima asks Naruto to follow him to Mount Myoboku for senjutsu training. On the other hand, Taka members have donned the red cloud uniforms of Akatsuki, reached the Land of Lightning, and located the Eight-Tails. After a fierce battle, Sasuke uses the power of his Mangekyo Sharingan to unleash Amaterasu, barely defeating the Eight-Tails. Meanwhile, Naruto completes his Sage Mode training and is prepared to face Akatsuki in a decisive battle...
