Introduction to the full plot of Thirty Years of Wind and Rain:
Ahzhi, an unlucky and simple village girl, was originally in love with a painter named Qiming. However, she was deceived by her mother and married into a wealthy family.
Her husband, Wenshou, often abused himself due to his illness, making him very introverted and isolated. Nevertheless, he fell in love with Ahzhi at first sight. After Ahzhi entered the family, a series of misfortunes happened to the Zhang family. The superstitious mother-in-law blamed everything on Ahzhi, thinking she was a "bad omen," and gradually became hostile towards her.
Despite this, Ahzhi faced all family members with kindness. Regardless of their schemes and attempts to harm her, she remained unbothered.
Gradually, Ahzhi began to see Wenshou's virtues and care for her, slowly building a bond between them. Ahzhi’s father-in-law, Zhang Yaokun, saw the virtue of sincerity in Ahzhi that his own children lacked, and thus began to value her highly. He even invited Ahzhi to work at the company. With the nourishment of love, Wenshou's health improved day by day. Zhang Yaokun started allowing Wenshou to take on important responsibilities within the company.
Zhang Yaokun's eldest son Wenfu and fourth daughter Wensi felt threatened by Wenshou and Ahzhi. Wenfu was openly unfriendly towards them, often causing trouble and leaving them to clean up the mess. Wensi, with her deep scheming, subtly slandered Ahzhi but often ended up shooting herself in the foot, making Zhang Yaokun trust Ahzhi even more. Even after being angered by his other two sons and suffering a stroke, Zhang Yaokun handed over control of the company to Wenshou.
When Ahzhi gave birth to a child named Ruan, who was deeply loved by the elderly couple, Wensi became even more jealous. When Ahzhi discovered that her five-year-old son Ruan had autism, her husband, overwhelmed by guilt, became severely depressed and tragically died in a car accident! Ahzhi was criticized by everyone. Qiming returned from abroad and learned about Ahzhi's plight, often comforting her. Her sister-in-law spread rumors, accusing Ahzhi of infidelity, claiming she caused the second son's death and even claimed she was pregnant with another man's child.
