The story originates from a mysterious assassin organization, which has an extremely peculiar way of training killers. They inject the assassins with a high-energy gene to alter their body structures, thereby generating various kinds of "superpowers." These individuals are called "psi-beings," and it is the existence of these powerful abilities that makes the assassin organization invincible. The protagonist Nick's father (played by Joel Gerts) was an assassin for the company, once a top killer in the organization due to his powerful psi-abilities. However, as he grew older and considered the future of his family and son, Nick's father decided to leave this bloody life behind. But as the saying goes, "those who live by the sword will die by the sword," and this decision soon brought about a fatal disaster.

Nick (played by Chris Evans), who witnessed his father's brutal death, gradually grew up. Though time passed, he never forgot the murder of his father. But how could one possibly destroy such a vast organization filled with assassins possessing strange powers? Since the enemy is so formidable, the primary task is to enhance one's own strength as much as possible. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," Nick secretly contacted the friends and families of those who had become victims under the blades of the assassin organization. With revenge as a common cause, a secret army quickly formed. At the same time, Nick also reached out to several psi-beings who, like his father in the past, wanted to break away from the organization, uniting them to fight against it.

Among these people is a young girl, Casey Holmans (played by Dakota Fanning). She possesses the powerful ability to predict the future. After formulating a series of action plans, Casey soon informed Nick through dreamlike oracles that a mysterious suitcase was crucial. This suitcase had already been stolen, and its contents could instantly bring the organization to collapse without a trace. Naturally, given the attention from the assassin organization filled with psi-talented experts, this suitcase became a matter of utmost importance. Both sides, watching each other closely, are preparing for an unprecedented battle...
