Introduction to the plot of "Two Wives":
"Two Wives" tells the story of a man who loses his memory due to a traffic accident and the series of events that unfold between his ex-wife and current fiancée.
Sun Tae-young plays Han Ji-sook, an unmarried mother who independently runs a high-end wine shop and flower shop. Ji-sook's character lies between calmness and passion. During her studies in the U.S., she fell in love with her boyfriend and had a child, but she returned to Korea alone without marrying him. Although her family introduced many men to her, these men all demanded a high divorce settlement if they were to divorce in the future. Having lost faith in men and deciding to live alone, Ji-sook meets Kang Cheol-soo (played by Kim Ho-jun) and falls in love with this romantic writer who doesn't care about money. Cheol-soo, living as a full-time writer, is a struggling writer who hasn't even written a masterpiece yet, earning a living by teaching part-time at the university and writing essays. The household finances are controlled by his wife, Yoon Young-hi. After being married for ten years and feeling that his wife only cares about money, Cheol-soo gradually drifts away from her. To gather material for his novel, Cheol-soo participates in an online "husband lending" activity and meets unmarried mother Ji-sook, falling for her. After divorcing his wife, Cheol-soo begins a new romance with Ji-sook and they plan to get married. However, before the wedding, Cheol-soo gets into a traffic accident, suffers serious injuries, and after being in a coma for a month, he wakes up with amnesia. Cheol-soo only remembers his ex-wife Yoon Young-hi (played by Kim Ji-young) and forgets his current girlfriend Han Ji-sook. The sudden car accident puts the three of them in an awkward and complex situation. Yoon Young-hi's irresponsible younger brother Yoon Nam-jun (played by Andy) is a jobless loafer who looks good on the outside but is just a troublemaker. He will have a romance with Zhao Mei-mei played by Lee Yu-jung.
