Plot of Transformers 2: In "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, in an interview published in today's (May 6) issue of Creative Screenwriting magazine, have revealed the official plot summary and new character posters for the first time.

The film begins with the Autobots and the military planning a secret war against the Decepticons. As more and more Transformers re-emerge, people discover that these robots have a much longer history on Earth than they imagined. Some officials even speculate that the Autobots brought the Decepticons, and propose driving the Autobots away. Optimus Prime doesn't want to leave Earth unprotected and at the mercy of the Decepticons, so he asks Sam for help, requesting him to be the spokesperson for the Autobots to convince humans to let them stay. Sam refuses; he wants to go to college and live a normal life like everyone else. However, his wish is not fulfilled because the fragment of the AllSpark on him influences him through primal energy, causing him to experience various strange thoughts and hallucinations. Sam's refusal to be a spokesperson has serious consequences for himself, the Autobots, and the entire world. Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, is resurrected, along with ancient demons from the history of the Transformers...

Screenwriter Alex Kurtzman said: "All good sequels have a great and terrifying villain who challenges our superheroes in unique ways. We discovered 'The Fallen' in the second volume of the Transformers comics—a mysterious and primordial figure, one of the first Transformers. He is their Lucifer, the fallen angel, and exactly what the sequel needed."
