Plot of Machine Hero: God creates humans, and humans create robots; if humans can doubt God, why can't robots doubt humans? In the year 2046. High technology is constantly changing human habits while also updating human desires. Thus, robots serving humans come into being.

The first generation of artificial intelligence robots, code-named K-1, was secretly developed by Tianan Research Bureau and emerged suddenly, aiming to replace police in executing dangerous missions to ensure the safety of law enforcement officers. To test its performance, Director Lin Xiang decided to send it to a remote town for an internship, supervised secretly by the local police captain Xu Dachun.

K-1 joined the police department under the identity of "De Ming" and immediately showed his prowess, becoming a master detective.
