Among these crimes, those responsible for homicide cases within the city are the elite team of top-notch investigators from the MPD Criminal Affairs Division's Investigation Section One.
Section One is a team of about twenty-odd people, including their team leader, but the strangest group among them is [Unit 9]. When it comes to the oddest person in the MPD, it’s Unit 9’s section chief, Gana Rentauro. It’s said that this unit has gathered some quirky individuals.
In reality, there are no troublesome superior-subordinate relationships within this team, nor does it have the spirit of a sports club. The team's policy fundamentally relies on making one's own judgments and acting according to one's own will. There’s no need for organizational investigation meetings, yet this small elite team boasts the highest arrest rate in the MPD.
This [Unit 9] consists of six very unique detectives. As police officers in their twenties and thirties, they bring out their distinctive personalities in each case! Each detective showcases their charm as they take on various challenging cases.
[MPD Investigation Section One Unit 9] has been reorganized and renamed [New Unit 9]. They’ll be back at 9 PM on Wednesdays to meet with everyone! The team has a new member, forensic pathologist Dr. Masaru!
