The TV drama "Crossing the Northeast" (Part 2) tells the story of the resilient survival, brave resistance, and clear choice of those who crossed the Northeast during this historical period.

Just over twenty years old, the eldest sister Song Tianhao brought her two younger sisters and little brother from Shandong to Shenyang to search for their father. However, the artillery fire of the "September 18th Incident" shattered their dream of family reunion, and the establishment of Manchukuo turned them into refugees. Father Song Chengzu rose up against the Japanese but unfortunately died; the little brother was abducted and eventually found himself in an unfamiliar vast grassland; the second sister went into the dangerous deep mountains to look for her little brother; while the eldest sister Song Tianhao and the third sister fled to Dalian, struggling to survive under the brutal rule of Japanese colonialism.
