Continuing from the previous series, DIE under Lang's leadership repeatedly solves bizarre cases and eventually gets "gloriously disbanded." Apart from Jingjing taking maternity leave and Fei Sir retiring back to his hometown in Scotland, the rest of the team returns to their former positions. However, their quirky personalities and styles remain unchanged, continuing to cause headaches for their superiors and facing exclusion at work.
During a large official event, the former members of DIE gather on-site for different reasons to carry out tasks. Jing, who happens to be passing by with her baby, instinctively captures her arch-nemesis Da Kou Ying while he is committing an illegal act, accidentally entering a restricted area. This triggers a chain reaction, causing chaos among everyone and embarrassing the top cop... The blame falls on the senior officer, prompting an emergency meeting among police high-ups. Luo Youheng, Lang's direct superior, to get rid of these troublesome subordinates again, proactively suggests reassembling DIE, gathering this group of troublemakers who cannot be fired, letting them fend for themselves.
