Content Introduction:
Directed by the aesthetically inclined Li Hanxiang, "The Lotus Maiden" features Blue Warrior band member Shan Liwen playing dual roles as Wu Song and Ximen Qing. The story is told in reverse chronological order, recounting how Wu Song was released due to Emperor Huizong's general pardon and sought out Pan Jinlian to avenge his brother's death. Upon hearing this, Pan reflected on her tragic life, recalling sorrowful memories — originally sold into servitude at a young age to Master Zhang, she was subsequently raped by her master and later became involved with multiple men, including Ximen Qing...
