Introduction to the plot of "Two Wives":

"Two Wives" tells the story of a man who loses his memory due to a traffic accident and the series of events that unfold between his ex-wife and current fiancée. Soo Ae plays the role of Han Ji-sook, an unmarried mother who independently runs a high-end wine shop and flower shop. With a character that balances calmness and passion, Ji-sook fell in love with her boyfriend during her studies in the U.S. and had a child, but returned to Korea alone without marrying him. Despite introductions from her family to many men, these men all demanded a substantial divorce settlement if they were to marry and later divorce Ji-sook. Having become disillusioned with men and resolved to live on her own, Ji-sook meets Kang Jeol-su (played by Kim Ho-jin) and falls in love with this romantic writer who shows no concern for money. Jeol-su, living as a full-time writer, is a struggling author without a representative work, earning only through part-time lectures at university and writing essays, with his wife Yoon Yeong-hui controlling the household finances. After ten years of marriage, feeling that his wife only cares about money, Jeol-su grows distant from her. Participating in an online "borrow-a-husband" activity for research for his novel, Jeol-su meets the unmarried mother Ji-sook and begins to feel attracted to her. Following his divorce, Jeol-su starts a new romance with Ji-sook, and they plan to get married. However, before the wedding, Jeol-su is involved in a traffic accident, suffers severe injuries, and after being comatose for a month, wakes up with amnesia. The amnesiac Jeol-su only remembers his ex-wife Yoon Yeong-hui (Kim Ji-young), forgetting his current girlfriend Han Ji-sook. The sudden car accident places the three in an awkward and complex situation. Yoon Yeong-hui's immature younger brother Yoon Nam-jun (Andy) is an unemployed loafer who looks good on the outside but constantly causes trouble. He will engage in a romance with Zhao Meimei, played by Lee Yu-jeong.
