Introduction of "Genius Investigator B":
Following the events of the previous season, under Lang's leadership, DIE (Detection Investigation Elite) successfully solved numerous bizarre cases and was ultimately "honorably disbanded." Apart from Crystal taking a temporary maternity leave and Detective Fee retiring back to his hometown in Scotland, the rest of the team returned to their previous workplaces. However, their quirky personalities and unorthodox styles remained unchanged, continuing to cause headaches for their superiors and leading to their marginalization at work.
During a large-scale official event, the former members of DIE gathered on-site for various tasks. Coincidentally, Crystal, who was passing by with her baby, instinctively apprehended her long-time nemesis Big Mouth Ying, mistakenly entering a restricted area. This caused a chain reaction, resulting in chaos and embarrassment for the top police officer... As a result, the senior police management held an emergency meeting. Luo Youheng, Lang's immediate superior, seeing this as an opportunity to get rid of troublesome subordinates, proactively suggested re-establishing DIE.
