Introduction of Genius Detective B:

Following the events of the previous series, DIE (Detection Intelligence Enforcement), led by Long, solves many bizarre cases and ultimately gets a "glorious disbandment." Apart from Jingle going on maternity leave and FEE Sir retiring back to his hometown in Scotland, the rest of the team returns to their previous workplaces. However, their quirky personalities and styles remain unchanged, continuing to give headaches to their superiors and facing exclusion at work.

During a large official event, the former members of DIE gather at the scene for various reasons to carry out tasks. Jingle, who is coincidentally passing by with her baby, instinctively captures her arch-nemesis Big Mouth Ying committing illegal activities, mistakenly entering a restricted area. This causes a chain reaction, leading to chaos among the team and embarrassing the top police officer on the spot... The blame falls on the team, prompting a high-level police meeting. Luo Youheng, Long's direct superior, proposes reassembling DIE to get rid of these troublesome subordinates again. These problematic yet irreplaceable underlings are concentrated together once more, left to fend for themselves. Since the original DIE supervisor Fee Sir has retired, Heng is forced to take on the responsibility of supervising DIE.

Upon hearing about the reformation of DIE, Jingle becomes very eager and requests to end her maternity leave and return to work. However, Long, influenced by traditional male chauvinistic attitudes, tricks Jingle into agreeing to take a full year off to be a full-time mother and take care of the baby. Later, when Jingle discovers Long's scheme, she refuses to be manipulated and decides to apply for reinstatement herself. Jingle rejoins the Major Case Squad and collaborates with a newly arrived high achiever. Their contrasting characters and styles clash like Mars colliding with Earth. Additionally, since Jingle had previously offended the top cop, her superior fears she might drag down the Major Case Squad. Therefore, Jingle is reassigned back to DIE under the pretext of another transfer. Returning to DIE, Jingle entrusts her baby to family members for care, but this leads to disagreements between Jingle's mother and grandmother over how to look after the baby, resulting in constant arguments day and night. To avoid a family feud, Jingle's father orders her to take care of the baby herself. Consequently, Jingle brings the baby to work, where the DIE team takes turns looking after it, leading to a series of hilarious situations...

Heng, desperate to quickly get rid of the trouble, constantly overworks the team and deliberately tries to split up DIE, forcing Long and Jingle to lead separate teams in solving cases. Initially, both Long and Jingle perform their duties separately, but Long, using his supernatural intuition, consistently solves cases, putting his group far ahead in performance... Meanwhile, Jingle accidentally discovers that the baby seems to have inherited Long's abilities, possessing incredible powers that often predict answers to things, helping Jingle make correct decisions and repeatedly turning danger into safety. Doubtful yet hesitant, Jingle temporarily does not inform Long about this. To avoid jeopardizing her subordinates' jobs, Jingle secretly uses the baby's abilities to assist in investigations, impressing others. However, Long eventually finds out and strongly opposes Jingle's abuse of the baby's abilities, fearing it may negatively impact the baby's growth. Tensions rise between Long and Jingle. At this time, Long reunites with his first love, Wen Chuchu, and works hard to help clear her of murder charges, making Jingle jealous and causing a cold war between the couple... Unexpectedly, Xiao Yi reappears, but this time it is not the real Xiao Yi... Due to his thoughts, Long dreams of Xiao Yi, who warns him in the dream that the life-and-death fate between him and Jingle remains unresolved. Although the birth of their baby temporarily averted disaster, as the baby grows older, misfortune will return, and Jingle will face mortal peril once again. Just as Long is half-believing this, the major villain from the previous series, Zhen Xiangrong, reappears before Long and Jingle... It turns out that this person is actually Zhen Xiangrong's twin brother, Zhen Xianghua, who has been secretly hospitalized in a foreign psychiatric hospital due to mental issues. He has returned to carry out his revenge plan...

As for Qing, seeing Long and Jingle married and having children, she feels it's time to pursue her own ideals and goes abroad alone for further studies. Yi initially doesn't take it seriously, waiting for Qing to return after finishing her studies so they can marry. However, he doesn't realize the crisis developing in their relationship... Ever since Qing left Hong Kong, the business of Yi Xianqian has relied solely on Mei and Pei to keep it running. When Pei encounters difficulties at work, she seeks Yi's help. Yi, considering himself a co-owner of Yi Xianqian, repeatedly helps despite feeling reluctant. Through this, Pei recognizes Yi's kindness, positivity, and optimism, greatly appreciating him, and they become good friends. As time passes, Qing living abroad feels a change in her life goals and secretly reveals her feelings to Long and Jingle, hoping they will persuade Yi not to wait for her anymore... This matter is unintentionally discovered by Pei, who feels Yi is not getting what he deserves and cannot bear to see Yi continue preparing for an impossible wedding. Thus, Pei teaches Yi various romantic methods to express his feelings to Qing abroad, hoping Yi can save this great relationship...
