Introduction to the plot of Two Wives:

"Two Wives" tells the story of a man who suffers from amnesia due to a traffic accident and the series of events that unfold between his ex-wife and current fiancée.

Sun Tae-young plays Han Ji-sook, an unmarried mother who independently runs a high-end wine shop and flower shop. Ji-sook, whose character lies between calmness and passion, fell in love with her boyfriend while studying in the U.S. and had a child. However, she returned to Korea alone with the child without marrying her boyfriend. Despite her family introducing her to many men, these men all demanded a high divorce settlement if they were to divorce in the future. Having lost faith in men and deciding to live alone, Ji-sook meets Kang Jeol-su (Kim Ho-jun) and falls in love with this romantic writer who shows no concern for money. Jeol-su, living as a full-time writer, is a poor writer who doesn't even have a representative work and earns money by working part-time as a lecturer at a university and writing essays. The financial power naturally rests with his wife, Yoon Young-hi. After ten years of marriage, feeling that his wife only cares about money, Jeol-su gradually distances himself from her. To gather material for his novel, Jeol-su participates in an internet "borrowing a husband" activity and meets unmarried mother Ji-sook, developing feelings for her. After divorcing his wife, Jeol-su begins a new romance with Ji-sook and they plan to get married. Unexpectedly, Jeol-su encounters a traffic accident before the wedding, suffering serious injuries and falling into a coma for a month. When he finally wakes up, Jeol-su suffers from amnesia. The amnesiac Jeol-su only remembers his ex-wife Yoon Young-hi (Kim Ji-young), but forgets his current girlfriend Han Ji-sook. The sudden car accident puts the three of them in an awkward and complex situation. Yoon Young-hi's naive younger brother Yoon Nam-jun (Andy) is a good-for-nothing, unemployed loafer who, despite having a shiny exterior, is just a troublemaker. He will embark on a romance with Zhao Meimei played by Lee Yu-jung.
