Introduction to the plot of Harry Potter 6:
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is once again directed by David Yates from the previous installment. However, after watching the movie, some praised the tight plot and romantic elements as highlights, while others criticized it for being monotonous and lacking romance in its love stories, leading to polarized reviews. After its premiere in the U.S., due to its unique storytelling and mysterious atmosphere, it received unanimous praise from both fans and critics, achieving a 98% approval rating on authoritative critic websites. Time Magazine commented that "Harry Potter 6" is the most spectacular visual representation of Rowling's original work. Variety magazine believes the film has dazzling special effects, a tight narrative, and a tense life-and-death urgency that makes the audience feel excited and thrilled. However, after the domestic midnight premiere, some viewers felt the movie pace was too slow, failing to capture the complex background of the novel and the conflict between the two sides, focusing instead on two immature triangular romances.
