Plot Summary:

"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" is adapted from the famous fighting game and tells the story of Chun-Li's transformation from an ordinary girl into a martial arts master, ultimately seeking revenge for her father.

Chun-Li (Kristin Kreuk) was once an ordinary girl who lost her mother at a young age and lived with her father, a local police officer. During a mission to capture suspected smugglers, her father went missing. Growing up alone, Chun-Li channeled her desire for revenge into her personal growth. Unlike other girls who played music or painted, she trained in martial arts under a master, hoping one day to uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance...

Time passed, and twenty years later, Chun-Li had become an international police officer. While investigating cases related to her father’s work, she discovered they were all linked to a large transnational crime syndicate led by the notorious Vega (Neal McDonough). Chun-Li found out that Vega's criminal empire was funded by drug trafficking, which could be a key to dismantling his organization. Despite several attempts, her missions failed, drawing Vega's attention. He sent his henchmen Balrog (Taboo) and Bison (Michael Clarke Duncan) to hunt down Chun-Li. With the help of police officer Charlie Nash (Chris Klein), she narrowly escaped danger.

Realizing that she couldn't take on Vega alone, Chun-Li decided to team up with Nash and find more allies to confront Vega. Meanwhile, Vega plotted a larger conspiracy in Thailand, putting the world at risk. Chun-Li rushed to Thailand to stop Vega's plan, avenge her father, and settle the score once and for all. The final showdown between the two sides unfolded in Thailand...
