After the fierce battle with the Shijima gang, Ruran High School enters a brief period of peace. Shijima Tamio (Takayuki Yamada) gives up his position as the boss, and Takumi Takiguchi (Shun Oguri) continues to challenge the terrifying Kei Hayashida (Motohide Fukumoto). Eight months pass quickly, and tensions rise again between Ruran and its long-time rival, Housen Academy.
Two years ago, Jin Kawanishi (Shinnosuke Abe) led the Ruran gang in a major battle against Makoto Fujii of Houzen Academy. During the chaos, Kawanishi killed Fujii, and was subsequently sent to juvenile detention. To prevent further casualties, Ruran and Houzen signed a ceasefire agreement. Two years later, after Kawanishi's release from prison, he is hunted by Houzen Academy. When Shijima intervenes, and Takiguchi gets involved, it destroys the ceasefire agreement between the two schools. Narumi Daiga (Nobuaki Kaneko), who inherited Fujii’s legacy, and Fujii Ryuuya (Haruma Miura) decide to use this opportunity to completely destroy their long-time rival, Ruran High School...
