Set in the 1980s, You Yiqiao (played by Autumn Ching), a pool prodigy, decided to retire from the game after using his girlfriend as a bet. Years later, he meets Jin Ziqian (Daniel Deng), a young man with remarkable talent for pool who repeatedly seeks him out. Realizing that Ziqian is the son of his former lover, Yiqiao makes an exception and takes him under his wing, teaching him all his skills while hoping to impart life lessons through the game of pool.
