Zhu Yutie (Tony Leung) and Zhu Patian (also played by Tony Leung) are twin brothers separated in their childhood. Patian lost his parents, and after a series of trials became the leader of the Changyue Sect. Yutie was spoiled by his parents since childhood; he does things based purely on personal likes and dislikes. During his travels, he meets Ting Dang (Wong Tsui-wan), Tie Shanhu (Liu Shuhua), Ni Dong'er (Yao Zhengjing), and Sword侍 (Zheng Yanli), beginning a five-cornered romance.
