Regarding the naming: the original English name is "Lineage Eternal", which can be directly translated as "Heaven Eternal", and temporarily named as "Heaven 3". Many analysts believe that this work is not the real "Heaven 3", but rather a prequel to the Heaven series in a new chapter form. However, there are also reports indicating that this work will be the last piece of the Heaven series. As a swan song level production, it is listed alongside Heaven 1 and 2, and it's not unreasonable to temporarily translate it as "Heaven 3".
Note: Tencent signed a strategic cooperation agreement with NCSoft when acting as the agent for "". Referring to the similar agreement previously signed between NCSoft and Shanda, all new games developed by NCSoft in Mainland China will be preferentially granted to Tencent for agency in the future. Therefore, it is highly possible that Tencent will act as the agent for "Heaven 3" in Mainland China.
From the video, it can be seen that the tasks in "Heaven 3" are given in real-time during the gaming process, instead of being accepted from a fixed NPC or location. In the trial play, three familiar professions from the Heaven series appear: Knight, Elf, and Archer. Compared to the previous two works, this one emphasizes action more and has a large number of instant-cast skills and charged skills.
The game graphics of "Heaven 3" resemble the style of Diablo 3. This game combines the worldviews of "Heaven" and "Heaven 2", focusing on large-scale battle content. It is set 200 years after the era of "Heaven", telling the story of the young people who resist the terrifying rule of the Dark Empire. This game is currently still in development.
