Fantasy Record 2: Demon God War: The story of the game takes place a thousand years before Fantasy Record, in an age full of warfare and killing. The world is home to five major races: humans, orcs, winged people (winged humans), fairies, and amphibious beings. They clash with each other for their own interests, inadvertently breaking the seals on the three Demon Gods who represent destruction, slaughter, and bloodshed. Thus, the three Demon Gods - Void God, Boundary Sea God, and Prison Madness God - descend upon the world. It is only at this point that the various races become aware of the crisis, transforming the inter-racial chaos into the Demon God War. The protagonist of the game is a captain from the Kingdom of Tolstoy, tasked with attacking the orc race. A series of tragic stories will gradually unfold during his long journey.
