Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The 3D action game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," themed around the popular American comic characters, is a fairly impressive work. Although the game development team is led by a new production group, they have engaged members from the previous arcade version's production team as consultants. The game will be adapted based on the cartoon version and include original elements in the storyline, allowing players to join the lovable ninja turtle heroes in combating evil crimes.

The graphics of the game are stunningly beautiful. Despite fewer backgrounds, the character models in the game are incredibly detailed and vibrant. The fine shadow effects make them closely resemble the animation style. To further highlight its cartoonish nature, the game has recruited the voice actors from the TV show for the game's dubbing. Hardcore TMNT fans will definitely find these features in the game. Clearly, like games of this type, playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles doesn't require much thought. You can fully engage in combat with enemies throughout your journey to clear levels.

Perhaps to satisfy our nostalgic desires, the game is entirely designed as a traditional "clear level" side-scrolling action game, where you fight through and eliminate all enemies. It includes a "life" system and score statistics. A relatively fresh feature is the addition of combo count statistics. After clearing a level, the game will tally scores, combos, time taken, etc., and excellent performance will earn bonus points. The bottom right corner of the game displays the direction and number of currently appearing enemies.

The game uses cartoon rendering technology, and like XIII, onomatopoeic words are added during fights to maintain the same style as the animated series, giving it a more 2D game feel. The visuals are quite comfortable to look at, although sometimes the displayed onomatopoeic words and explosion effects may appear less appealing.
