A feature film with documentary tendencies, "Black Hawk Down," which premiered in the U.S., is a movie based on real events. It depicts an extremely brutal battle that took place on October 3, 1993, involving the U.S. "Delta Force" (referred to as the anti-terrorism unit in the film) and the "75th Ranger Regiment" during their peacekeeping mission in Somalia, located in East Africa. At the E3 gaming conference in 2002, the renowned simulation game development company NOVALOGIC created the latest installment of DF, titled "Black Hawk Down" (hereinafter referred to as BHD), based on this operation.

One significant selling point of BHD could be its advancements in the graphics engine. Since it is adapted from real events and the movie, environmental portrayal is crucial. Based on the six video clips currently available, NOVALOGIC has done an excellent job in this aspect, with many details being vividly represented.

Real-time reflections. Since "Comanche 4," NOVALOGIC has made substantial efforts in real-time reflections, significantly enhancing previously lackluster graphics. BHD follows suit, with the helicopter's glass canopy reflections appearing even more impressive than in "Comanche 4."
