Osteosarcoma is a relatively common type of primary malignant bone tumor encountered in orthopedic clinical practice, commonly known as "bone cancer". It has a high degree of malignancy, as well as high mortality and disability rates, and often occurs in children around the age of 10. Similar to other types of malignant tumors, for malignant bone tumors, early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment are the keys to successful treatment.
