Shenzhen Polytechnic has 16 of its courses listed in the 2008 National Quality Courses Catalogue, which was officially announced not long ago by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. With this, the number of national quality courses at Shenzhen Polytechnic has reached 41, ranking first among universities in Guangdong Province and leading other higher vocational colleges nationwide.
The 16 new national quality courses added in 2008 at Shenzhen Polytechnic are: Flower Arrangement and Art Design, Automobile Transmission System Technology and Maintenance, Comprehensive Metalworking Skills Training, Special Processing Technology, Microcontroller Application Technology, Windows CE Embedded System, IC Layout Design, Electronic Circuit Board Design, Smart Card Technology, Mobile Communication, Printing Process, Practical Accounting Basics, Catering Operation Management, Exhibition English, Product Engineering Design, and Two-Dimensional Animation Production.
