With the expansion of the online market, online translation services have emerged on some major search engines or specialized translation websites. However, Baidu, Google, and NetEase have formed a "tripod" situation in the online arena.

After Baidu and Google successively entered the online service sector, NetEase also launched a trial version of its online translation service. Thus, the layout of the domestic mainstream search vendors in the translation market has formed a tripod stance. Currently, there are mainly two models of online translation in China. One is the traditional "expert model," where language experts input grammar rules and dictionaries into computers, and then computers translate according to the grammar rules; the other is machine translation, which refers to the automatic conversion of one natural language into another by computers.
