Xinhua News Agency, Tianjin - The globally popular shooting game "Counter-Strike" (CS) is seen by some Chinese parents as a "fierce flood" that leads their children to internet addiction. However, it has become a powerful tool for Chinese police to practice technology and simulate anti-terrorism scenarios.

Starting from the 12th, more than 300 CS experts from the Tianjin police force, who were selected through multiple rounds of screening, gathered at the city's "Number One Homeground" Internet cafe to participate in a three-day competition of anti-terrorism skills in a virtual environment.
