The highest stars of the Republic of Korea coalesce into the strongest family!!
"Family Outing" is a segment of the large weekly Sunday variety show "Happy Sunday" on SBS Korean Television, hosted by MC Yoo Jae-suk and featuring several regular guests and special guests.
Each episode sees the artists form a family and select a rural household in the countryside where they spend two nights and one day. During this time, the family must complete various farming tasks left by the owners, participate in team-based competitive games, collaborate on cooking meals, and compete within the family for better sleeping positions, delivering a humorously genuine portrayal of the artists' lives.
Regular Guests
Lee Hyori (National Fairy), Yoo Jae-suk (Ae-dae), Yoon Jong-shin (Patient, Elderly Person), Kang Da-sung (A-gwa), Kim Soo-ro (Kim Jimo, Game King), Park Ji-yeon (Park Ji Jeans {left}), Lee Tae-hi (Tae-deul-cinderella {left}), Kim Jong-kook (One Man, Kim Guk-jong) (joined at Episode 19), Park Hae-jin (Argumentative Youth), Park Shi-yeon (Urban Girl) (the latter two joined at Episode 54)
Lee Hyori: National Fairy, the most sexually appealing singer in Korea. In the "family," she is the "ruler" of "Ae-dae" and "A-gwa," often opposing Yoo Jae-suk. She and Yoo Jae-suk are known as "National Siblings," while with Kim Jong-kook, she forms the "Awkward Pair."
Yoo Jae-suk: National MC, the funniest MC. In the "family," he is paired with BigBang's Da-sung as part of the "Dull-witted Brothers" known as "Ae-dae Older Brother." He is very afraid of Hyori, has a small courage, and often does some dull things (also for the sake of the program's effect). He claims to have an IQ of 114.
Yoon Jong-shin: The eldest member of the "family," often appearing sickly and referred to as the "patient." Recently, he and Soo-ro have been called "Forty Brothers" (40s Brothers). He is very conscious about his height issues. (41 years old)
Kang Da-sung: A member of the popular Korean idol group BigBang. In the "family," he is paired with Yoo Jae-suk as part of the "Dull-witted Brothers" known as "A-gwa Younger Brother." Like his older brother, he is also afraid of Hyori and performs some baffling actions alongside Yoo Jae-suk. He claims to have an IQ of 110. He and Jong-kook are the "Squinting Brothers."
Kim Soo-ro: A famous Korean film actor with many successful films such as "Volcano High School." In the "family," he is known as "Kim Jimo" and often orders Tae-hi around, but actually takes good care of her. He is the younger brother of "Forty Brothers" (40s Brothers). (40 years old)
Kim Jong-kook: A famous Korean singer. He officially joined the "family" on October 26, 2008, becoming a regular performer. After joining, like Kim Soo-ro, he orders Tae-hi around but is actually very considerate of her. He feels awkward with Hyori, forming the "Awkward Pair," and is treated as Hyori's pet. He also creates a pink atmosphere with Ji-yeon and is currently experiencing a "Game Low." He is the older brother of the "Squinting Brothers."
《Withdrawn Members》(Formally departed at Episodes 52 and 53, these episodes were "Farewell Specials")
Park Ji-yeon: A famous Korean actress with works such as "Bali Honeymoon." Despite looking sweet, she can sometimes be fierce. Many things men in the "family" wouldn't do are done by Miss Ji-yeon, such as catching chickens and killing fish. When she pouts, she has a severe nasal tone.
Lee Tae-hi: A famous Korean actress with works such as "Love for Proteins." In the "family," she is very innocent and clumsy. She is often ordered around by Kim Soo-ro and is called "Tae-deul-cinderella," which means "Cinderella."
She was later replaced by new members Park Shi-yeon and Park Hae-jin.
Park Hae-jin: An up-and-coming young actor who became famous after starring in "Rumor of the Seven Princesses" in 2006. Later, he appeared in works such as "Higher Than the Sky." In the "family," he is a true "argumentative youth," often arguing with elder brother Jae-suk. In games, he shows weakness contrary to his tall stature, earning him the nickname "Unrealistic Man."
Park Shi-yeon: A famous Korean actress known as the Third Fairy Mother in "The Legend of Bao Lian Deng." Whenever she participates in "family" recordings, she dresses urbanly and is called the Urban Girl. She has works such as "Water Boys." She forms the Two Parks Team with Park Hae-jin as the older sister, is the same age as Hyori, and has always hoped to defeat Hyori in games. In Episode 54, she became Da-sung's student.
