Jay Chou's new album "Magic J" will be released on October 9th, with pre-orders officially starting on September 24th. The latest song "Rice Fragrance" will premiere globally on September 22nd on the "Hit Fm Network." DJs who have heard the song all commented: "It's a very sincere song, definitely worth recommending!" Jay Chou stated that this song brings creation back to its roots, using the simplest music and lyrics to convey inspiration. To ensure the music aligns closely with his original intent, Jay Chou wrote both the lyrics and composed the music for this song, prompting long-term collaborator Vincent Fang to jokingly say, "You're overstepping your boundaries again!" Despite his success in his career, he has no immediate plans for marriage, saying he will only consider it at the age of 35. He humorously added, "I'll first see how their married lives turn out before I think about this issue."

Although skilled in musical creation, Jay Chou's talent for writing lyrics is equally commendable. With simple words, he creates a richly imaginative Zen-like realm. In terms of melody, he boldly experiments by mixing hip-hop with folk music, especially evident in the opening folk guitar piece, which is refreshingly new. Jay Chou also cleverly incorporates creative elements into the arrangement, adding the sound of crickets in the prelude. The opening line goes: "If you have too many complaints about this world, and after falling down, you dare not continue moving forward, why are people so fragile and decadent?" He asks directly and powerfully, akin to a sudden awakening, questioning if one has replaced gratitude with complaints. The message the song conveys is "contentment." Jay Chou mentioned that the inspiration for the song came from recent TV reports about natural disasters and the negative emotions surrounding difficulties experienced by many friends around him. Hence, he decided to choose "Rice Fragrance" as the first promotional single. He humbly expressed, "After all, I'm already 30 years old, and while I still have influence, I want to contribute more to society."
