Many times, we hear a song or a melody outside, and we really like it. But we don't have a convenient way to record it. Later, when we want to revisit it, we feel regretful. I myself have encountered this situation many times: hearing some good music in the supermarket or coffee shop, but feeling too shy to ask the staff (I've heard that many people go directly to the counter to ask, but I haven't got the courage yet). When I try to search for it later, I can't find it no matter what, and I end up feeling very regretful.
Even in the best-case scenario, you still have to identify the lyrics first before searching. This is clearly far from our ideal situation: I've always thought, wouldn't it be great if I could just hum a few notes and find the song. I believe many friends have had similar thoughts.
Thanks to my friend Wang Tao from Northeast Forestry University for sharing this information. Today, I really found out about the existence of this music search engine.
