At the Xinrongji Hotel in Jiaojiang, Taizhou, a huge fish surprised all the diners. The fish is about 1.2 meters long and weighs 38 kilograms with a spotted body; it takes two persons to lift it up together. The customers all said that this was a giant "rock cod."
The giant fish was provided by the hotel supplier on the afternoon of the day before yesterday. When it was transported to the hotel, it took several employees great efforts to move it into the fish tank. The rock cod was caught by Liu Bing, a fisherman from Dachen, Jiaojiang. On August 15th, he caught this giant fish in the sea near Dachen Island. Liu Bing said: "I have been fishing for more than 20 years, and I have never caught such a big rock cod. My fishing boat is not big, and catching such a large rock cod is purely down to luck."
