A few days ago, I accidentally discovered a self-service website building service from abroad (Canada) - Viviti. Its comprehensive functions, user-friendly settings, and convenient operations immediately attracted me (even though the interface is in English, it provides perfect support for Chinese). Currently, it is still in the Beta testing phase and has not opened up free registration, but you can apply for an activation code by entering your email on its homepage. After nearly 10 days of waiting, I finally received the activation code from Viviti. By clicking the link to enter the activation page, setting the default secondary domain address (***.viviti.com) and password completes the registration process (you can also complete registration through OpenID; after registration, you will receive 10 invitation codes. If you need them, please leave a comment below, and be sure to provide a valid email address). Then select a template, log in to your personal site, and make free settings (it is recommended to first modify your personal site information, such as name, description, etc., after logging in). After preliminary trial use, I feel that Viviti's features can be described with the following four "freedoms":
1. Templates can be freely changed. Through the relevant options in the top navigation bar, we can choose one suitable template from dozens of pre-set ones (Figure 1). We can also customize the homepage and style sheet files through HTML code. Meanwhile, Viviti also provides the function of downloading/uploading templates, making it convenient for us to download the current template to our local machine, edit it, and then upload it again. Although it is not as flexible as using templates in WP, as a self-service website building service, the template function here is still quite convenient and easy to use.
