Seven Metrics for Measuring the Value of a Blog

PageRank is the most intuitive way to measure the value of a blog. However, the PR value displayed on the Google Toolbar is not updated in real time. In such cases, you can refer to the Sogou Rank value. Dividing the Sogou Rank by 10 roughly equals the value that PageRank will update to next time. However, it's not 100% accurate; some websites with a Sogou Index of over 40 only get a PR of 3 after the update, while some websites with a PR of 4 have a Sogou Index of only over ten. This is partly because Sogou does not comprehensively index links from English-language sites, and partly because some websites' PRs are hijacked.
