Shenzhen News (reported by Wang Na, with correspondent Zhong Rujun) - A group of thieves has taken a "high-end approach," targeting the valuable luggage of people taking flights home. They would hide in suitcases and steal others' luggage during the airport bus ride! On January 25th, the Bao'an District Procuratorate approved the arrest on charges of theft for suspect Wang, who is over 16 years old, from this theft gang.

On January 1st at around 1 PM, suspect Wang placed two suitcases (the smaller suspect Wu, along with作案 tools, was hidden inside one large suitcase; the other suitcase was prepared to conceal stolen goods) into the baggage compartment of the 330 Airport Express Bus he boarded. After the bus started moving, Wang sent a text message to Wu, who was hiding inside the suitcase, instructing him to come out and commit theft. Wu quickly placed three laptops belonging to three passengers into the suitcase designated for concealing stolen goods, then hid back inside the larger suitcase.

Driver Mr. Luo noticed through the surveillance video that one of the suitcases was abnormally shaking, with a human hand protruding from it. Mr. Luo discreetly called the fleet dispatcher to report the unusual situation on the bus. When the bus arrived at Shenzhen Airport, Mr. Luo drove directly to the police officers waiting at the airport. The police arrested Wu, who was curled up inside the suitcase, and recovered the three stolen laptops from the adjacent suitcase, with a total value of 7820 yuan.
