In mid-June this year, Mengcheng police discovered a letter online where "Crying Bud" reported that several female students at Tiancun Elementary School in Mengcheng had been bullied by a new teacher since the start of the autumn semester last year.
On June 20th, Mengcheng police formed a special task force and quickly identified the target, Wang Wenhua, a 35-year-old third-grade Chinese language teacher at Tiancun Elementary School in Mengcheng, using technical investigative methods.
The investigation revealed that from September 2010 until the case broke (June 2011), Wang Wenhua, using his special status as a teacher and the naivety of young female students, let the students go outside for free activities during class, leaving only one or several female students in the classroom; or during class, he called multiple female students to the last row under the pretext of correcting homework, raping and forcibly molesting them. The youngest victim was only 9 years old.
On September 23rd, 2011, Mengcheng People's Procuratorate approved the arrest of Wang Wenhua, who was suspected of rape and child molestation.
During the review of Wang Wenhua's case by the procuratorate, Wang confessed to the crimes but showed no remorse, even saying "There is nothing significant between men and women."
Mengcheng People's Procuratorate believed that Wang Wenhua's behavior violated the Criminal Law,涉嫌 rape and child molestation.
On December 22nd, 2011, Mengcheng Procuratorate formally transferred the case of Wang Wenhua to Bozhou People's Procuratorate in Anhui Province for review and prosecution. (All names and locations in the article are pseudonyms.) Lu Jianjun, Zheng Hong
