This video named "XX Special Report" highly imitates the broadcast format of "News Broadcast", where Xing Zhibin announces the internal news of the company, shocking many netizens. Yesterday, reporters contacted multiple CCTV hosts, who all refused to disclose his phone number for the sake of protecting Mr. Xing. Xing's former colleague Zhao Zhongxiang clearly stated that as internal material, the company should not have uploaded it to the internet illegally. He revealed that these CCTV "elders" all have deep feelings for CCTV and the News Broadcast program, "We will not bring the characteristics of the program into commercial programs for attention."
Internal materials should not be spread on the internet
This advertisement video circulating on the internet lasts 5 minutes and 13 seconds. The uploader named it: Renowned CCTV Host Xing Zhibin Returns -- "XX Special Report". The video highly imitates the broadcast format of "News Broadcast", except the four big characters "News Broadcast" are replaced by "XX (Company Name) Special Report". The opening of the video shows a rotating earth as the background while introducing the company logo. Xing Zhibin sits upright and announces three pieces of news with the unique tone of "News Broadcast".
In the interview with the company, they revealed that this video was not intended to be broadcast on media platforms but was instead a gift for distributors during the Spring Festival, "We don't know how it got onto the internet and was mistaken as an advertisement." Yesterday, Zhao Zhongxiang told reporters, "As internal materials, they should not be scattered on the internet. If transmitted to the network or media, from a professional perspective, it is considered illegal."
Old employees have feelings for old programs
Zhao Zhongxiang said, as old employees, he and Xing Zhibin would not let their beloved program be mocked, nor would they do anything profit-driven that goes against their principles, "We have served CCTV for so many years, even after retirement, we still have feelings for CCTV and our original programs that others may not understand. We can record commercial programs individually, but it is impossible to involve the program in the shooting.
