Family Members of the Deceased Have Arrived at the Scene

Last night at around 8:30, when the reporter arrived at the scene, the road from Bulong Road turning to Qingfu Road had been completely closed by the traffic police. At the corner, a pair of slippers left by the deceased and a mobile phone battery were found. In front, on the green belt, four large trees were uprooted, leaving a trail of tire marks on the sidewalk. Several large trees were lying in the middle of the road. About ten meters further ahead, the body of a 40-something worker lay there, covered with a blanket.

After the mud truck reached the entrance of Taihao Garden Hotel, it consecutively knocked down three or four roadside landscaping trees. Master Ding was thrown off and died on the spot. By the time other workers arrived, the mud truck had long since fled. Numerous branches were scattered at the scene, and Master Ding's shoes and mobile phone were found at the turning point. After the workers reported the incident, the traffic police arrived and sealed off the scene for investigation.

Master Ding's colleagues said that Master Ding jumped into the driver's cabin to try and catch the driver. There were two people inside the cabin trying to push Master Ding out. He firmly held onto the car door, and people on the vehicle attacked Master Ding. The mud truck fled for about a kilometer on Qingfu Road while carrying Master Ding.

Numerous branches were scattered over a distance of more than 100 meters, clearly indicating that the vehicle had driven onto the green belt before returning to the road.

According to witnesses, the deceased was a municipal road maintenance worker who was thrown off while attempting to apprehend the driver of the mud truck discharging slurry.

After the incident last night, family members of the deceased, Master Ding, have already arrived at the scene to handle matters.
